Jeannette Marie (Doucet) LeBlanc passed away on April 17, 2013 at the Foyer St Thomas Memramcook at the age of 93 where she had been residing since 2004 while battling Alzheimer.

Born in St Joseph du Moine, Cape-Breton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Doucet and Marie (Chiasson) Doucet. Flower gardens were her passion and her hobby for many years.

She is survived by one son Laurie (LJ) (Patricia Utley) of Belliveau Village; four daughters, Muriel (Dismas) Brun and Bernice (Joe) Cormier both Dieppe, Marie-Thérèse (Allen) Reid of Nanaimo, BC and Angela LeBlanc (Tom Gaudet) of Cormier's Cove; eight grand-children: Terry, Nadine, Marc, Michel, Tyler, Charline, Nicole, Marcel and Mathieu; ten great grandchildren: Justin C., Meaghan, Melissa, Mélanie, Justin B., Isabelle, Kyle, Aimée, Gino and Philippe; two sisters, Rosanne Maillet of Bouctouche and Mathilde Brazel of Dieppe, two sisters-in-law Marie (Bernard) and Marie (Dominique) and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Philippe of 62 years (April 17, 2004), a grandson Dwane Reid (June 2012), a great grandson Rémi (April 8, 2004), one brother Bernard and one sister Soeur Cécile Doucet.

Visitation will be held from Dupuis Funeral Home with the service to be held at Dupuis Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Pré-d'en-Haut cemetery.
